The point of certification is consistency: an Official Ruthie Belle Trainer runs the same course — the same structure, the same technique, the same standards — that a student would get training directly at Ruthie Belle HQ. Wherever a certified trainer teaches, students are getting the real Ruthie Belle course, not a personal variation of it.

On top of the core teaching curriculum, the two days also include a business bonus: a social media marketing module covering how to film, how to edit in CapCut, and how to structure posts that actually perform — a practical head start on marketing lash lift training once certified.

Certification is only the start. Every Tier 1 graduate becomes part of an ongoing relationship — bi-weekly live education on everything new in the industry, direct access to Ruthie Belle for questions long after training day, and a permanent listing in the Certified Teachers directory so clients and students can find them. Certification — meaning a student is recognized as trained and qualified in the Ruthie Belle method — is only ever earned through Tier 1, regardless of whether it was completed 1-on-1 at HQ or via a group training. Tier 2 (Affiliate Partner) does not confer certification; it's a separate, non-certifying brand relationship (see Tier 2 table above).

Certification rests on three requirements:

1. Case studies — submit a minimum number of before/after case studies post-training for review, demonstrating the candidate can perform the treatment to standard
2. Teach a theoretical topic — explain a topic such as cysteamine chemistry, shield selection, or processing time to Ruthie Belle as though teaching a beginner student, demonstrating the candidate can actually teach the material, not just perform it
3. Assess someone else's work — given a deliberately imperfect student case, the candidate must identify what's wrong, explain why it happened, describe what they'd tell the student, and determine whether it passes certification — demonstrating the candidate can evaluate and correct others' work, a core skill for anyone running trainings

All three are reviewed by Ruthie Belle personally, for now. Certification is withheld until all three meet standard — this protects brand quality and ensures every certified trainer can not only perform the treatment, but teach and assess it in others.

3.1 Ongoing Education (Tier 1 only — key differentiator)

This is a recurring-value layer, not a one-time transaction. For Ruthie Belle Tier 1 graduates:

• Bi-weekly Zoom calls — updates on anything new in the market, technique refinements, new products, troubleshooting trends
• Direct access to Ruthie Belle via Instagram/WhatsApp or similar for ongoing questions
• Positions Tier 1 as a relationship, not a one-off course — graduates always have cutting-edge knowledge, and staying an active trainer is what keeps official Ruthie Belle Trainer status current
• This is explicitly not included in Tier 2 — the gap between tiers isn't just format (in-person vs. online), it's ongoing access to Ruthie Belle long-term

3.1.1 Staying Active

Official Ruthie Belle Trainer status is not a one-time achievement — it depends on staying active.Activity bar (checked every 6 months): at least one Official Ruthie Belle Training with at least one enrolled student, during each six-month active-status period. Personal kit/product purchases don't count on their own — the point is to confirm the person is actively training and supplying students, not just restocking for their own client work.

If the bar isn't met, official Ruthie Belle Trainer status is lost — including access to the ongoing education layer (Zoom calls, direct access) and the Certified Teachers directory listing. Staying active and meeting the bar again restores it.

Training manuals per student: Trainers are required to purchase one training manual per student for every training they run, at €40 each. Each manual comes with a bonus single-use Ruthie Belle product sample — the Cysteamine Lash & Brow Lift Single Use tester and the Lami Juice Black Mini — giving the student something to try immediately. Manual purchase quantity for a given training period serves as confirmation of teaching activity for the 6-month bar.

Each manual also ships from Ruthie Belle HQ with an official student completion certificate included, sent directly to the trainer for their student. This makes the certificate feel genuinely official — issued by Ruthie Belle HQ itself, not printed locally — and gives Ruthie Belle a direct, verifiable record of how many students each trainer has actually taught.

3.2 Kit & Product Benefits

Certified Tier 1 trainers receive a 30% discount on Ruthie Belle kits and products (no minimum order required), plus 5% cashback on purchases made with their personal discount code, and a code their own students can use for 10% off.

• Tier 1 graduates receive official Ruthie Belle certification, recognizing them as trained and qualified in the Ruthie Belle method. Maintaining official Ruthie Belle Trainer status requires staying active (see Section 3.1.1).
• Tier 2 affiliates receive a Ruthie Belle Affiliate Partner Program certificate, recognizing their status as an approved affiliate — distinct from and not equivalent to Tier 1 certification.
