Unlike traditional primers, which open the lash cuticle as quickly and destructively as a bolt of lighting, Easy Lift Primer has been specially formulated to open the cuticle slowly and gently — like a flower bud slowly unfurling its petals.
This ultra-gentle formulation leaves lashes soft, supple, and ultra-pliable while allowing the cuticle to open fully. The result is evenly-primed, perfectly-prepped lashes or brows, every single time!
- Longer curing time allows cuticles to open 100%, allowing the primer to penetrate evenly
- Removes sebum and natural oils without dehydrating or damaging lashes
- Makes lashes soft, supple, and "super-bendy"
- Primes lashes so they stick securely to the shield — no more annoying pop-offs!
- Great for clients with especially coarse, stubborn lashes and/or brows
- Made in the EU from medical grade ingredients
Easy Lift works to gently regulate the pH of the lashes or brows to prepare them for treatment, while dissolving sebum and opening the lash cuticles. Within the first 3 seconds of application, the Easy Lift formula wraps evenly around every individual hair. After 20-30 seconds, Easy Lift begins to slowly lift the cuticles— ever so gently! The slow and steady pace means that unlike traditional primers, all cuticles will be lifted evenly — without dehydrating or damaging the lashes.
Easy Lift also works to soften the individual hair fibers to make even the strongest, most stubborn lashes soft, supple and super-bendy! This makes your job as a lash artist significantly easier as there's no more fighting to keep your client's lashes in place during treatment.

- If I'm performing a Ruthie Belle lash or brow lift, Easy Lift primer is optional, right?
We get this question a lot — and the answer is that using Easy Lift is an absolute must when using our lash lift system! That's because without Easy Lift it's almost impossible to achieve a good lift. Easy Lift gently opens the cuticles to 100% which allows curling lotion to penetrate deeply within the lash and work its magic more efficiently! Performing a lash or brow lift without RB Easy Lift would be like building a house without a foundation!
- Should I use Ruthie Belle's Easy Lift Primer the same way I use other primers?
No. While Ruthie Belle's Easy Lift Primer achieves the same result as traditional primers (removing sebum and fully opening the hair or lash cuticle) it works very differently from other primers:
Traditional primers open the cuticle very quickly — in just a few seconds. In the process, the high alcohol content in those old-school formulas dehydrates and damages the lashes. The alcohol evaporates so quickly it doesn't allow enough time for the cuticles to open evenly. This uneven application will cause some cuticles to receive an excess of product. As a result of this hit of alcohol the cuticles will dry out and even burn off (and they never grow back)! Other lashes that are obstructed from coming in direct contact with the application wand will receive less or even no product, which means they'll open partially or not at all.
Ruthie Belle's Easy Lift Primer takes a bit longer — around 30 seconds — to fully open the cuticle. It's worth the wait, as the cuticle is given time to open fully. This allows the Lash Lift products to work that much more effectively and leaves the lashes healthy, hydrated, and completely free of damage!
- Can I use other brand's lash lift products along with Ruthie Belle's Easy Lift Primer?
No. Easy Lift Primer was specifically formulated to be used exclusively with other super gentle Ruthie Belle Lash & Brow lift products. If you use Easy Lift with another brand's lifting lotion that's likely much more aggressive, there's a high chance the client's lashes or brows will end up damaged and overprocessed.
- Can I use Easy Lift as a primer before applying eyelash extensions?
No. Easy Lift Primer is only meant to be used as a lash/brow lamination primer. Lucky for you, we've created an Easy Lift-esque product that's specifically formulated for eyelash extension priming… and it's called Adhesive Superdry.
- Should I patch test before a Brow Lift?
Ruthie Belle products don't require patch testing prior to use. Simply ask your client to alert you if they experience any irritation or discomfort during the treatment. If your client is experiencing discomfort, stop the procedure immediately and remove all products with a damp cotton pad.
- Should I patch test before a Lash Lift?
Ruthie Belle products don't require patch testing prior to use. Take care to keep any product from coming into contact with the client's wet line, and ask them to alert you if they experience any irritation or discomfort during the treatment. If your client is experiencing discomfort, stop the procedure immediately, remove all products, and rinse the eyes thoroughly with water.
- How much time should I leave between lash or brow lift treatments?
With Ruthie Belle's gentle line of products, it's best to leave just one week between brow lifts and lash lifts may be repeated as often as you like.
