Quarantine is a great time to learn how to keep your eyebrows in check by giving them a Brow Lift at home. It manages unruly eyebrows and gives thin eyebrows a fuller appearance. It’s suitable for anyone, just make sure your skin underneath and around the brows does not have any damage (such as sunburn, pimples, microblading etc).
Today I'd like to tell you a little about harsh vs mild Lash Lift products.
There are generally two types of Lash Lift products in the world: aggressive old school products and more gentle modern ones.
As we all know, the trend in the world of cosmetics is to use more and more gentle and safe products. This trend is also rising in lash industry. It’s very important to understand that aggressive products work very differently from gentle ones. Among other differences mild products need a little bit more time to gently process lashes while aggressive products shock them rapidly into a completely new shape while putting a lot of stress on them.
Brow Lift is a rapidly developing trend both in Europe and in the US. Basically, it’s Lash Lift for eyebrows. Brow Lift is a treatment that makes your natural brow hairs look thicker, darker and healthier by shaping and nourishing them. Brow Lift holds even the most stubborn eyebrows in check and adds volume and effect to narrow or over-plucked brows. It works wonders for all types of eyebrows whether you have skinny, thick or unruly eyebrows.
At first, you need to be sure your skin underneath the eyebrows is healthy and undamaged, meaning you don’t have any zits or pimples, cuts, sunburn and you haven’t had a recent chemical peel. You also shouldn’t apply Brow Lift after microblading or after getting any permanent eyebrow tattoos. Brow Lift is recommended after 2 months has passed from microblading or eyebrow tattooing.
Brow Lift is a quickly developing trend both in Europe and in the US. Basically, it’s Lash Lift for eyebrows, i.e. similar chemicals and procedures are used. It is important to always use a special curling lotion for eyebrows as it is more skin-friendly than Lash Lift Curling Lotion. Brow Lift holds even the most stubborn eyebrows in check and adds volume and effect to narrow or overplucked brows.
It’s important to use Brow Lift not Lash Lift curling lotion for brows as lash and brow hair are not the same. Brow Lift curling lotion has been formulated to be used on the skin (Lash Lift perming lotions aren’t meant for that) and to specifically reshape brow hair keratin.
THE PROCEDURE:
1. OIL-FREE MAKE-UP REMOVER: CLEAN 11
Clean11 is our signature purifying lash foam that has been formulated specifically for all skin types including dry and sensitive skin.NB! Do not exfoliate the brows to avoid the curling lotion coming into contact with broken skin.
2. CURLING LOTION
Apply the curling lotion to the brows with circular movements, using a microfiber brush.
Massage the brows until keratin has softened enough to prevent brow hairs from popping back into the position they naturally want to grow
EXPOSURE TIME:
brows with normal texture: 5 min
brows with strong or very strong texture: 6min
NB! Don't keep the lotion on the skin for longer than 6min as it will start irritating the skin underneath.
3. FIXING LOTION
Shape the brows as desired IMMEDIATELY after application of the fixing lotion, using a mini applicator brush or a silicone brush (other brushes are unsuitable as thick porous brushes will remove the lotion from the brows and may damage or irritate the skin).
EXPOSURE TIME:
6min for all brow hair types
NB! Work quickly with the brush, as the fixing of the new shape of the brows starts at once upon contact with the fixing lotion.
When we think about lash shampoos we are used to checking their ingredients for any oily compounds.
